Something Avery frequently likes to play is "hair shop". She loves to pull up a chair behind me and brush my hair out, rub globs of mousse around, and pretend to curl it. I would normally object to waisting the mousse and having my hair in tangles, but honestly it feels good to have someone brush and play with your hair. It's relaxing (almost)! Her hair is naturally pin strait, so we decided to buy her some rollers from the store. We got her hair pretty damp, added some mousse, rolled up all the rollers, and used a hot blow dryer to dry her hair. She just couldn't wait for them to dry all day, so we sped up the process ourselves! She was pretty amazed at how bouncy and flouncy her new curls were. I wish this process were faster than using a curling iron, but overall it really wasn't. The curls did seem to last longer though! Here are a few before and after pics of our "hair shop" time together!
